Emergency ambulance service

When your pet is ill or has an accident it is a very worrying time

Our emergency ambulance operates between 7am and 7pm Monday to friday for all emergencies and transfers to and from referral hospitals.

The ambulances are equipped with a special animal stretcher, oxygen equipment,muzzles, restraint equipment, "ambu bag" resuscitation equipment and blood glucometer as well as a full trauma kit as part of the standard equipment we carry.

The Ambulances are satellite tracked and navigated to ensure we can arrive at your home in the quickest time possible.

No other independent Veterinary Ambulance is able to provide this level of care in the North of England.

Since being formed as the Merseyside pet ambulance in 2006 our service has gone from strength to strength.

We are now recognised as the leading specialists in critical care transport in the UK .

Our vehicles not only have experienced trained staff but also carry the latest Veterinary ambulance equipment much of which has been designed or adapted by us including oxygen tents for transit.

We can also supply a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to travel with animals if required. We are able to transport animals to all UK referral hospitals.

Our vehicles are in constant use daily and along with our sister company National pet express we transport animals throughout the UK and Europe.

Our service is licenced by DEFRA and our ambulances are registered with DVLA as ambulance vehicles
